Growing up in Grosse Pointe Public Schools meant that education was taken very seriously. Student achievement had high expectations as well as the teachers and parents. I believe this helped me to gain a strong educational foundation. However, I felt we worked only for grades and overall scores, my education was focused less on personal growth and individual learning.
