Introduction: The learning environment refers to the physical, pedagogical, and psychosocial contexts in which learning occurs and critically influences the educational experience of trainees in the health professions. However, the manner in which individual faculty explicitly organize the educational setting to facilitate learning of essential competencies such as critical thinking deserves more examination; lack of attention to this component can undermine the formal curriculum. The purpose of our study was to examine how faculty shape the learning environment to advance their learners' development of critical thinking. Methods: We took a constructivist grounded theory approach using the framework method for qualitative content analysis.

The learning environment used a multimedia-based textbook entitled "Business skills through English". This was experimental research which used a mixed-methods approach. Students' critical thinking skills and academic performance learning outcomes were the variables for this study.

Other takeaways from the course are the ability to identify learning styles and needs, knowledge about the developmental peculiarities of various age groups, and competence regarding socioeconomic determinants of health assessment. In nursing, critical thinking helps students to find the best solutions to the problems which enable the most beneficial outcomes for the patients. Therefore, organizing the most suitable learning environment for nursing students is of great significance. To organize critical thinking, educators resort to various learning methods and apply technological innovations.
Additionally, what evidence can we look to for seeing the benefits of teaching them to our learners? Critical thinking is talked about in many educational circles, but the conversations are not always about how to pursue it. Also missing in the conversation is what the next steps are for bringing it into our classrooms.
